ELCOMP’s activities started in the year 1936, when the company was founded as PHILIPS subsidiary.

Basically ELCOMP is now manufacturing the entire range of:

- Wide band loudspeakers ,

- Specialized frequency range loudspeakers (woofer, middle range, tweeter) ,

- Hi-Fi acoustic speaker systems to 1000W,

- Car loudspeakers,

- Loudspeaker systems for public – adress uses

ELCOMP is specialized in the development, manufacture,mounting and service of announce and Alarm Systems – for an indoor-outdoor area, in a emergency situations or desasters.

ELCOMP is also specialized in complex projects for indoor and outdoor sound systems (research , assembling , mounting , service) specially for the cathedrales, churches, theatres, conferences sales, administratives buildings.

ELCOMP has the necessary technologies and equipments for:

- Producing metal parts (sheet metal and profiles),

- Producing plastic parts,

- Protection covers (electrostatic painting),

- Assembling of the products.

Since 1998 ELCOMP S.A is a private company.

Main customers are important producing companies in Romania as:

- FORD ROMANIA – car speaker systems

- RENAULT DACIA – car speaker systems.

Other customers there are in the special professional electronic industry military field, naval shipyards, mines.

ELCOMP is widely open to any kind of cooperations with foreign companies.
